The Secret Film Society is an innovative film club in Gauteng that fosters a dynamic film culture. We provide a platform for audiences to engage deeply with both local and international films through unique "surprise" screenings and interactive discussions. 

Our mission is to create a vibrant, accessible, and thought-provoking space for film enthusiasts, industry professionals, and the general public to celebrate and critically engage with diverse cinematic works.

Neo Moretlwe is the film enthusiast passionate about creating a dynamic film culture. She is the founder of Brain Engine and The Secret Film Society, an innovative film club that curates unique "surprise" screenings and fosters interactive discussions with the aim to grow film audiences across Gauteng.

A Unique Film Experience

Our secret screenings concept builds excitement and anticipation. Members sign up and receive details on venue and age restrictions only. The film itself remains a surprise, encouraging viewers to step outside their comfort zones and discover a wider range of cinema. After the screening, facilitated discussions delve deeper into the film's narrative, relevance, and impact.
