That's why Brain Engine is proud to launch the second cohort of the Brain Engine Film Marketing Lab, a free, industry-led programme designed to equip filmmakers, producers, marketers and storytellers with the strategic skills needed to successfully release, position and grow audiences for African films.
Building on the success of our inaugural programme, the 2026 Film Marketing Lab brings together leading professionals from across the film, media and entertainment industries to share practical knowledge that is rarely taught, but essential to every successful release.
Over five weeks, participants will explore the complete marketing and distribution journey of a film, from audience development and funding readiness to publicity, theatrical releasing, streaming platforms and broadcast.
